Red and near-infrared light therapy, also called low-level laser therapy, is a painless and effective way to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Red light therapy is well proven to cause fat cells to leak, which reduces their size, on the hips, waist, thighs, buttocks, and upper arms.
Near-infrared light is well proven to boost blood circulation as well as stimulate collagen and elastin production. This helps reverse the collagen and elastin breakdown that is a typical cause of cellulite.
