Microneedling lets you say goodbye to acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentationand other skin imperfections.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin perfecting procedure that stimulates the new collagen and elastin. Also called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), microneedling uses tiny needles to create micro wounds that heal quickly due to surrounding healthy tissue.

Numbing cream is used to ensure treatments are virtually pain free. Our use of the most current advanced treatment protocol ensure downtime is minimal.

What is a Microneedling treatment like?

First your skin is cleansed and numbing cream is applied. After the numbing cream has taken effect, roughly 20 to 30 minutes, it is removed.

Your licensed practitioner will use a Microneedling pen with a cartridge that has tiny needles on the end to create micro injuries in the skin. Depending on the size of the treatment area, your Microneedling treatment can take between 20 and 60 minutes. Your practitioner may recommend a serum to boost treatment results.

What can I expect after a Microneedling treatment?

After your procedure you may experience minimal downtime. Redness and any mild swelling usually subside in 8 to 12 hours but may last up to 3 days. If you choose to get more aggressive treatment downtime can be longer.

As the skin heals over the next couple of days post-treatment, the skin can feel tight and itchy. Your practitioner may recommend post-care products to sooth, moisturize, and facilitate healing.

When will I see results?

You’ll typically notice an immediate glow, but visible improvement from collagen and elastin formation typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. Results can continue to accumulate for up to 6 months. Optimal results typically require multiple treatments; usually four to six for most people.

How long do Microneedling results last?

Microneedling results typically last about 1 year for most, but can vary depending on the skin type, skin condition, and other health factors. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 6 to 12 months for best and continued results.
