Growth factors to accelerate healing and amplify results were first introduced in 2012. The medical grade solution delivers pro-healing, anti-inflammatory growth factors and cytokines that signal healing. It also contains synthesized human TGF-B3, a human growth factor, that further reduces inflammation and promotes healing. Growth factors are generally recommended for those who want to smooth fine lines beginning to form, improve skin texture, even skin tone, and have that healthy skin glow.
Technology advances led to stablized exosomes becoming available 2023. Exosomes are tiny stem cell derived tiny sacs that cross cell membranes to deliver payloads of cytokines, growth factors, and other cell repair singaling molecules. They improve healing at a cellular level to boost the body’s natural healing process. Exosomes are recommended for aging skin, especially for those over age 50, scars, and skin conditions such as rosacea.

Medical Microneedling Frequently Asked Questions
What areas can be treated with medical microneedling?
Microneedling is suitable for all skin types. The face is the most common microneedling treatment area, but treatments can be delivered almost anywhere on your body, including to remove stretch marks and scars.
What medical microneedling device do you use?

What is a Microneedling treatment like?
First your skin is cleansed and numbing cream is applied. After the numbing cream has taken effect, roughly 20 to 30 minutes, it is removed.
Your licensed practitioner will use a Microneedling pen with a cartridge that has tiny needles on the end to create micro injuries in the skin. Depending on the size of the treatment area, your Microneedling treatment can take between 20 and 60 minutes. Your practitioner may recommend a serum to boost treatment results.
What can I expect after a Microneedling treatment?
After your procedure you may experience minimal downtime. Redness and any mild swelling usually subside in 8 to 12 hours but may last up to 3 days. If you choose to get more aggressive treatment downtime can be longer.
As the skin heals over the next couple of days post-treatment, the skin can feel tight and itchy. Your practitioner may recommend post-care products to sooth, moisturize, and facilitate healing.
When will I see results?
You’ll typically notice an immediate glow, but visible improvement from collagen and elastin formation typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. Results can continue to accumulate for up to 6 months. Optimal results typically require multiple treatments; usually four to six for most people.
How long do Microneedling results last?
Microneedling results typically last about 1 year for most, but can vary depending on the skin type, skin condition, and other health factors. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 6 to 12 months for best and continued results.
