One of the most dreaded signs of aging for both men and women is thinning hair, bald spots, and a receding hairline. And for so many people, hair loss begins to occur before they expect it. Losing your hair can be a heavy blow to your self-confidence, affecting both how you feel about yourself and how other people see you.
The good news is that there is a safe, effective non-surgical treatment for hair restoration!
Hair Restoration with Microneedling and AnteAGE MD
Microneedling for hair loss alone is proven more effective than topical minoxidil 5% for stimulating hair growth when hair loss is caused by Androgenic Alopecia (study). Hair restoration using microneedling combined with a unique solution that improves hair follicle activation by mimicking the body’s natural bio-signals improves results further. AnteAGE MD Hair Microneedling Solution mix of growth factors, cytokines, and peptides are precisely engineered for effective follicle stimulation (study).
Treatments are virtually painless, there is no downtime, and results begin to be visible a few weeks after treatment.
Who is a Candidate for Hair Restoration?
Hair restoration treatments with microneedling and AnteAGE MD Hair Microneedling Solution is appropriate for most healthy adults with hair loss due to Androgenic Alopecia. Contraindications include blood thinners (Plavix, Coumadin and Heparin, etc.), an impaired immune system or immunosuppressive medications, steroid therapy, blood disorders, platelet abnormalities, communicable diseases, and pregnancy.
What to Expect during Hair Restoration Treatment
The hair restoration treatment for women and men is very straight forward. First your scalp will be treated with a topical anesthesia to ensure your comfort. Post-care will be reviewed with you while you are numbing to ensure all your questions are answered. The topical anesthesia will remain in place for about 25 minutes. The topical anesthesia is removed, then the treatment area is disinfected with isopropyl alcohol.
A new sterile AnteAGE MD Hair Microneedling Solution tube is opened and the solution will rolled onto a small part of the treatment area. The solution is incorporated into the skin with a new single-use microneedling tip. Solution is rolled onto the next area and is incorporated into the skin with the microneedling tip. This repeats until the entire treatment area is adequately treated, usually between 15 and 30 minutes. Sterile saline solution from a new bottle may be used to clean any pinpoint bleeding.
And that’s it! Hair growth will be noticeable in a few weeks after the first treatment. Multiple treatments are typically required, usually 4 weeks apart.

About AnteAGE
AnteAGE cytokines are produced by bone marrow stem cells donated by healthy volunteers. Bone marrow stem cells are the most highly versatile in the body. They are considered the safest and most genetically programmed to produce natural healing and anti-inflammatory bio-signals. AnteAGE MD products do NOT contain any cells or any cell remnants. They are removed during ultrafiltration, which is the final step in the laboratory culture process. All AnteAGE products are 100% cruelty free, paraben free, pathogen free, dye and fragrance-free.
About AnteAGE MD for Hair Restoration
AnteAGE MD Hair Microneedling Solution contains healing cytokines along with nine bio-identical growth factors, each its own unique hair growth benefit. All active ingredients work together to activate the hair follicles stem cells to do what they are meant to do; sprout a full head of healthy, new hair.
AnteAGE Superior to PRP
PRP was initially used for treating sports injuries in the 1980s. PRP is inflammatory, and inflammation helps improve vascularity and oxygen uptake in non-healing chronic wounds.
In PRP therapy, about 50 ml of your blood is extracted. An anticoagulant may or may not be added to the blood before it is centrifuged. The time the blood is centrifuged varies as there is no industry standard. Sometimes the platelet-rich plasma layer used after the first centrifuge, sometimes there is a second centrifuge, and sometimes a matrix activator is added. There are a variety of commercially available PRP systems, but some practices use custom made PRP process.
The platelet count in the resulting Platelet-Rich Plasma cannot be consistent. This is because platelet counts in your blood naturally vary from day to day. Platelet counts also tend to decrease with age. Because platelet counts are inconsistent, so are the available cytokines which include growth factors.
Everyone agrees that the cytokines in PRP are inflammatory. An inflammatory healing environment is pro-fibrotic, meaning scar tissue is formed. Inflammation in a healing environment can also lead to abnormal pigmentation and scarring. Also important is the fact that inflammation is linked to aging in all tissues.
The growth factors, non-inflammatory cytokines, and peptides in AnteAGE MD Hair Microneedling Solution are precisely engineered for effective follicle stimulation. It doesn’t require a blood draw, there is no risk of blood contamination, and there is no potential for complications caused by PRP injections.
